Shark 153-3GT-8 Belt

Though shark says there are no user replaceable parts, this belt fit perfectly and was very easy to order.and replace

I spent two days looking for this belt. I called Shark and was told that they don’t sell the belt, that I would have to buy the entire head $90 usd. Called gates who manufactured the belt and was told they only sell to Shark. What a racket. We love this vacuum but I will never buy another Shark product again.
I have only used the belt one time since receiving it. So it’s difficult to say how to build a hold up. I think the key is to keep it clean along with the roller. Thanks for making this.

It is rather difficult to give an honest review at this point. I can say that when I ordered the belt, I received an e-mail within an hour saying it was already shipped. The postal service dropped the ball on shipping and I waited 20 days to actually get it. It was easily installed and was a perfect match. I would recommend coming here because the belt was difficult to find, but through the head of our maintenance department, the company where we purchase our heavy duty belts for industrial equipment recommend this site. Good job! Shark wanted $90 for the whole head unit and said they don’t carry the $9 belt. So far so good. The front roller works again. I will find out the longevity over time.

I have been looking for a replacement roller belt for my shark vacuum cleaner. All others come from china and quality is cheap and would also take too long to get. If you want it at a decent time order from here. The price is the best compared to other sites. Its size perfect, i recommend looping the bigger end first and sliding to smaller pulley carefully.

A little tight to get it on but if you put it in hot water it will soften and expand the belt a tad to make it easier to get on. Make sure you let it cool to room temp before using.
